Alison Haworth

Physiotherapist and Sports Massage Therapist

I recently moved to Skipton after studying Physiotherapy at the University of Bradford, qualifying in 2018 with a first class degree. Areas I most enjoyed studying whilst at University were musculoskeletal and neurology, and these are both areas I will continue to study and learn more about whilst I practice as a qualified physiotherapist.

I grew up surrounded by sport in my hometown of Lincoln, swimming competitively at a national level before I swapped the pool for dry land to pursue my studies and career as a physiotherapist. It was swimming that initially got me into Physiotherapy as I received a lot of it whilst competing and intensively training up to 10 times a week.

I have also completed my Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy course, and I’m excited to help athletes care for their bodies so that they can excel in their chosen disciplines. I hope that in the future I will be able to combine my two biggest passions which are travelling and sport, and Roadside is the perfect place for me to begin this journey!

You can now book in for a Physiotherapy session or Sports Massage with me on a Tuesday evening at Roadside Therapy Skipton. Please visit our online booking system to view my availability.

Thanks and see you soon 😊
